Permanent Christmas light installation takes one day for most homes. You get a free satellite-measured quote first, then our crew mounts the aluminum channel, installs LED nodes, runs wiring, sets up the controller, and walks you through the app. No mess, no surprises.
Step 1: Free quote (remote, same day)
You don't need to schedule a home visit for a quote. Send us your address, and we'll pull satellite imagery to measure your roofline length. We design a custom layout and send you a firm, all-in price. No range, no 'starting at' — a real number that won't change unless you change the scope.
Steps 2–4: Pre-install, channel mounting, LED installation
Once you approve, we order your hardware — channel, LED nodes, controller, transformer — custom-cut to your measurements. We schedule your installation date, typically 1–3 weeks out.
Installation day — Channel mounting (morning): Our crew arrives, stages materials, and begins mounting the aluminum channel along your roofline. The channel screws into your fascia board — the flat board behind your gutter line. We custom-cut corner pieces for clean transitions at peaks, valleys, and corners. Timeline: 2–4 hours.
LED node installation (midday): With the channel mounted, LED node strands slide into the channel and click into position. Each node is spaced precisely for even light distribution. Connections use sealed, IP67-rated weatherproof connectors. We test each section as we install it. Timeline: 1–2 hours.

Steps 5–8: Wiring, testing, walkthrough, cleanup
Wiring, controller, and transformer (afternoon): Wiring runs from the LED nodes down to the controller location (usually your garage), routed neatly along existing paths. The controller mounts to the wall and connects to the transformer (hardwired to an electrical circuit) and your home Wi-Fi. Timeline: 1–2 hours.
Full system test: We power up the entire system and run through a complete test — every node on every color, pattern transitions, zone independence, app connectivity from your phone, timer and schedule functionality. Any issues are resolved before we leave.
App walkthrough: We sit down with you and walk through changing colors, creating scenes, building your holiday calendar, setting timers, adding teams for Game Day, and sharing access with family members.
Cleanup: We remove all scrap materials, packaging, and cut channel pieces. Your property looks exactly as it did when we arrived — plus a smart lighting system.

Frequently Asked Questions
We'll identify this during installation. Minor repair is included. Major fascia work would need to be done separately before installation.
We reschedule rain days. The channel must be dry during mounting for proper sealing.
In most Western Iowa and Nebraska municipalities, low-voltage lighting doesn't require a permit. If your area does, we handle it.
Clear any items stored along your roofline or fascia area, ensure garage access for controller mounting, and have your Wi-Fi password handy.
